Payment Policy

MAKING A PAYMENT.

 

All projects under $200.00 will require full payment up front. All projects over $200.00 will require a 50% non-refundable deposit before work begins. NO EXCEPTIONS. The remaining balance will need to be paid at the end of the project/upon approval and before the project is released and/or sent to print.


We accept Paypal, Cash, Credit Card, or Checks (larger organizations only). There will be a $35 fee for returned checks.

 

CANCELLATIONS.

 

Digital Design and Web Design:

In the event of a cancellation (which must be put into writing), time spent on the project will be prorated, billed and due immediately at the time of project termination. All Deposits are non-refundable.

 

Printed Work:

Print projects cannot be canceled once printing has started. All Deposits are non-refundable.

 

TURNAROUND.

Turnaround times for standard projects are 5 to 7 business days. All other turnaround times are based on the unique needs of the project and will be discussed and agreed on prior to the start of the project. See Expedite below for quicker turnaround needs.

 

REVISIONS.

 

We allow THREE (3) rounds of small revisions without incurring any additional design fees of $5.00 and up per revision. Any revisions made after the final project approval will be charged $15.00 per revision.

 

 

MATERIALS.

All materials (text, images, logos, information, etc.) are needed before your project can begin.
Files may be delivered in the following format (s): Email Text, Word Document, PDF, JPG, PNG, TIF, PSD, AI, PSP, etc.
*Note: All images must be sent in high resolution (minimum 300 dpi). Lower resolution images will result in poor print quality. Daina's Place will not be held responsible for projects resulting in poor quality images. We will contact you if better quality images are needed.


All text supplied must be typed. (DOC, TXT, or Email Text). 

 

EXPEDITE/RUSH ORDERS.

 

An expedite fee of an additional 40% of the total cost of the project will be charged to clients that request a turn around time of 48 hours or less.

PRINTING.

 

We work with third-party printers that we trust and are affiliated with. In the rare case that there is a printing issue, we will work with the printers to get it resolved. Any costs incurred (that is not caused directly by our errors) will not be at the expense of Daina's Place. Once an order is sent to print it cannot be canceled, and we can NOT issue a refund. Any additional revisions or changes be made cannot be made at this time.

 

 

PROOFING.

 

Prior to print, all clients have the opportunity to review/proofread each job to ensure accuracy. Once the job receives final approval for print, no revisions or changes can be made once it is sent to print. We are not responsible for any misspellings, punctuation, or formatting issues after your last approval.

 

 

LOCAL DELIVERIES.

 

Once the project is complete and printed, Daina's Place will deliver within a 30-mile radius or the client must schedule a time to pick up. Deliveries farther than 30 miles will incur a mileage fee.

 

 

SHIPPING FEES.

 

The client is responsible for any shipping fees. You will be notified and aware of any shipping fees when the project total is given.

 

 

ACCURACY OF QUOTES.

 

Quotations are based on the accuracy of the specifications provided. Daina's Place reserves the right to re-quote a project if the information submitted does not conform to the information on which the original estimate was based. Orders placed with Daina's Place are to the client's knowledge correct, and there are no conditions or agreements set for the project until quotes are accepted and the project begins.

 

 

ALTERATIONS AND/OR CORRECTIONS.

 

All projects will be given THREE (3) free revision rounds. Each additional revision round will incur an additional revision fee of $5.00 per revision. The fees must be agreed to by both parties before further work proceeds. We request that all revisions or changes to a project be submitted via email only.
